Hi and welcome to my blog! My name is Roberta Cucchiaro, I’m Italian, from the North of Italy, lived (and still living) abroad most of my life, a world citizen, a crazy traveller and a photogrer in the heart.
This blog is not about me, it’s about what surrounds me. Who knows me, knows that I have lots of.. those so-called “hobbies” and I really needed something comparable to Dumbledore’s Pensieve, a place where I can share with you and with my brain all those fun, interesting and sometimes crazy bits and pieces of information. Technology, information and knowledge.. they all go hand in hand! I so created this blog, Pensieve let’s call it (yes, I’m a huge Harry Potter fan).
In order to give it all a meaning, I decided to divide all those bits and pieces into the days of the week so whenever I come up with something “cool” to share, I’ll make sure to post it on the right day (and bare with me if I occasionaly have “the writer’s block” gaps and I don’t post every single day… let’s say that sometimes it’s good to take a break from the computer screen!). So here’s the story explained short:
Monday: music it is. Tuesday: Photography from my personal portfolio. Wednesday: Art, mostly photographic art. Thursday: Ar(t)chitecture, lots of eco, green and sustainability. Friday: design, iPhone apps and cool stuff, really cool, trust me (my favourite section!). Saturday: it’s a politicized section, lots revolving around China and mostly on Sino-African affairs which has been my academic specialization throughout my studies. Sunday: it’s music again, just because music = a good life.
Now, to conclude I just want to emphasize how much I love, deeply love, sharing all this with whoever wants to read it! I will be so happy if reading my blog will make you

iam surprised to read about Sokrates… really seldom that i heard this name outside my philosophy institute. He is a guy from a time long long ago, but he is influencing us, isnt it amazing? the knowledge of his time, 2500 years ago, must be quite different from nowadays, u know – i mean, for me its clear that, we are what we experienced – and Sokrates lived in a complete other world, but he talked about something in that circumstances of an absolutely dissimilar society to ours (or should we talk about habits?), what is necessary for people 2500 years later… its a long time
because, the things are changing fast i think.
Last time i had a little idea, i hope u guys here dont misunderstand me, it sounds like that:
The great ideas, the art of great personalities, these things are being destroyed by the standard – the general people.
I dont want to separate people by this statement, i just try to name a fact of our world, without validation of good and bad. In fact, we all together produce a lot a lot of problems by ourself for ourself or another ones. And in fact, beside Sokrates we have many philosophical theories, ideas to describe the whole world, and in recording to that i have really a problem “to know”, to be able to have a plan for my live.
