QUINTORIGO! – Introducing Italian “progressive”/experimental jazz!
Today I want to introduce you with a unique Italian band. Their name is Quintorigo. The band was founded in 1996 by John de Leo, who however left the band in 2005. Their genre varies across several music genera, from experimental, jazz, reggae, punk, funky, pop and progressive rock music. Quintorigo has definitely a strong experimental taste to their music, and that’s why I like them!
Their present squadra is:
Andrea Costa (Cesena 7 gennaio 1971) – violin
Gionata Costa (Cesena 28 agosto 1973) – violoncello
Stefano Ricci (Fusignano 12 novembre 1968) – double-bass
Valentino Bianchi (Cesena 28 novembre 1974) – saxophone
Luca Sapio (Roma, 22 aprile 1975) – vocals
