A blog for the living πολυμαθής, polymath, or more commonly known as the Renaissance men, those who like Socrates know that they never know enough and are in constant search for knowledge. Avant-garde, China, high-tech, eco(things), experimental music, my Canon whose name is Cina Rossa, planes and airports, traveling, being on the constant move, my mom and dad and my friends: this is what makes me.
This reminds me of when I was a kid and watched my dad get a shave by a barber in Costa Rica with a straight razor. You have to be a trusting person to sit down and bare your neck to a perfect stranger wielding a straight edge.

Che emozione questa foto!
Love the way how you captured all the fine lines on the old man’s face, gives it an aged wash to the picture. (:
A striking image – a perfectly captured scene! Great shot!
I’m dying to visit Xinjiang! And here’s another reason to push me to get going: street barbers!!
Looks like this boy is going to twist his head and break his neck.
Good picture!
